Halloween Fanfare

Lately Roadrunner has been asking me why we haven't decorated for Halloween. He feels we are behind the times with our decorating. He has pointed out every house that is so ready. I advised him that our yard is still a construction zone and not safe to trespass on. Thus, this year we will leave our house dark. As evidenced in the photo, uneven ground where a walk path should be is hazardous enough, add a few sand bags and some kiddie sport cones and wa la... DANGER.
.....................................................................................

We did however carve pumpkins, but not the half green ones we grew. A couple of days before we did so, our pumpkins disappeared from the vine. I don't suspect a raccoon either.

However, we did have a great time and Roadrunner was not sure he wanted to get his hand slimy. He finally got into the groove but only wanted to do the cutting and outlining from here on out.
Costumes were creative but not outrageous. Bookworm, who is also a Kitty lover was a kitty witch, Pixie was a princess, Noodle was a Bride and Roadrunner was a Construction guy... but often called Bob the builder.
Below I've posted some pics from the Pumpkin Fest and Trunk or Treat Enjoy!

In this pic, Pixie in Pink is there with her best friend Linnise (the fire fairy) and two of her sisters Hermine (Michelle) and Clarissa (the tiger)-who's in my primary class.
