While I apologize right from the begining about being shy some pictures I promise additions when I get home and find my cord to upload them off my camera. UPDATE: Pictures!
I also must note that following head checks netted no further sign of the creepies we had encountered. I am grateful that it was caught so early.

Our first reunion was held at Diamond Lake, Oregon where we were with the large family relations of BicycleMan's mother's side. Other than the gnats and the witnessed assault at 1 am the first night we had a blast. Bookworm wasn't present as she was at her first year of girls camp.
My favorite was the tour of the Crater Lake Rim even though the cliff heights made me white knucle portions of the trip. I also enjoy the programs put together.
We finished that trip in time to turn around and send BicycleMan off on a Boy Scout backpacking trip on Mt. Hood, Oregon.
While I practiced my single parenting skills for a while and then packed and left for My mom's side of the family reunion. We held it in Yakima at Uncle Dennis' house.
The Goat's greeted me as we parked the car.
Unlike last year we packed in 6 large tents, filled the garage and the spare bedroom. (Including local visitors we counted 55 in all of those 55 we had 24 children (all great grandchildren for my grandma and grandpa.) We celebrated Grandpa's 77th birthday and enjoyed the pool to near blackness and sunburns.
The first night netted a cool evening breeze after a day in the mid-80's and then thunderstorms for most of the night! No-one got wet thankfully. As the second day progressed we found that the pattern was likely to repeat.
Uncle Dennis held his annual "I Spy" game, many kids enjoyed the hunt including those in the late thirties. Its the traditional egg-hunt style, plain things hidden in plain sight and all outdoors, a toothpick, a twist-tie, a pen, a hose clamp and the like...
a typical I-Spy item hidden in the corner of the window frame.
Well, goodnight for now wish us good-weather.
