I am a dreamer. Well we all are but we don't necessarily recognize it or remember them in the morning. But last night I had two that I remembered. The thing is that our dreams are our subconsious telling us how to fix our problems or trying to point out a problem.
I found it interesting that shortly after the election results I retired to bed and promptly had one dream. I relate it directly to the doom this nation will certainly suffer over the next couple of years.
History is doomed to repeat itself.
So with the help of a reputable dream interpretation website I have seen the insights I am about to share with you. If you'd like to test out the website yourself, visit: The Dream Zone
Here is the raw dream, below is the interpretation of the symbols it found inside it.
Enjoy a peek into my head.
Details of the Dream you had...
Rarely my dreams take me to the point of death but this one did. I was at a large but comfy house, one night Bookworm my daughter, got sick she was sleeping on the top bunk in the same room as her grandmother. We have been battling this bug for a week now as a family and the fear of me catching is growing. I then decide to run away, with a new song from the Twilight soundtrack running through my head: "run all the way with me" is the lyrics I hear. In reality it is "go all the way" (by Perry Farrell) So I first decide to hide on the dark backside of the house in a nook. When a couple of my kids look out the door and figure I have run off they close the door and go back in. Then I run away and soon I am driving our car. I am driving along to go pick up my husband but then I realize I am going the wrong way. I was headed toward the place I left him, not where he was. So I decide to turn around and begin looking for a turnout when I find a street. I turn off onto it only to realize I do not have very good control of the car then my hair or coat hood keeps moving or obstructing my vision it is rainy and the roads are muddy slick. The road coninues to go downward and speed increases eventually I feel panic and recognize that I will crash if I can't get control back. Then after I drive a little further down the road I begin feeling the car roll through the air and drop off the road until it crashes on the rocks below. I was screaming realizing I fell asleep at the wheel and being fully aware I was about to die when my release of breath woke me up on impact.
Now I call this raw because when they interpret they take out all punctuation and capitilization, and I input it under a haze of groginess. I tried to put it back in but it may not be perfect. Also if it doesn't make sense...Its a dream, its not supposed to sound coherent.
So here is the symbols the interpreter sent back.
Since your mind uses things you are familiar with to relate experiences, I found that these were very relationary to the events from the present and previous day or week.
Take it like you want.
Keywords found in your dream and their meaning...
Back: Your strength, your ability to carry a heavy burden. Can also mean you need to or you have put something behind you, turn your back on something/someone. Or is there something you need to get back to in your life?
Bugs/Insect/Bug: It's time to deal with something that is 'bugging you.'
Car/Vehicle/Cars: Shows how you are traveling through life or through a particular situation. Can also refer to how you are "driven" or motivated. A speeding car is a good indication you need to slow down and take it easy in waking life. A car with no brakes means you are having difficulty putting the brakes on something. A crashing car may indicate you are headed for a crash, a rude awakening. An out of control car means you have lost control of something in your life. A car that won't start indicates you are having trouble getting things up and running or that you have lost your "drive" or motivation. It's always good to be in the driver seat of your car, it means you are in control. If your car is stolen then you may be feeling directionless in your life or you may be having a difficult time making a decision, feeling unsure what direction to take. If your car is going backwards then you have either lost your motivation for something and want to back out of it or something is going in the wrong direction and not progressing forward.
Dark/Obscure/Dim: To be in the dark in a dream means you are 'in the dark' on some issue in waking life; there is something going on you need to shed some light on. What are you uncertain about right now? Can also mean depression.
Death/Dead/Dying: Change, the old dying off in order to make way for the new. The end of an issue or relationship. A part of yourself, a part of your life, something in your world coming to a close. Fear not. Rebirth is around the corner. Dead people in a dream usually refer to issues that are dead, that you should no longer give any energy to. Ask yourself if you are holding a grudge that you need to let die. Actual dead people you once knew often refer to that point in your life when they were around. Is there anyting about who you were then that you need to bring back to life now?
Door/Doorway/Entry: An opportunity. A locked door symbolizes your inability to get through to somebody or an inability to progress. An open door is telling you to move forward.
Falling/Fall/Fell: Fear of failure, of losing status or of losing control. Something in your life is going rapidly in the wrong direction: your finances? A relationship? Your career? Your self esteem? Time to redirect this situation immediately! Sometimes falling can point to falling into a depression.
Fleeing/Chased/Running: Running from an issue. What or who are you avoiding right now? The message of this dream is "stop running, the more you run from this issue the longer it will last."
Freeway/Highway/Road: The road of life. The path you are on right now. The direction you are headed. The condition of the freeway will reflect the traffic conditions in your life; very busy and congested, slow going, smooth sailing, etc. Going off the freeway suggests you may be sidetracked.
Grandmother/Grandma/Old Lady: The wisdom you have gained through age and experience. Can mean a need to be pampered and spoiled. Could symbolize passage of time or old, out dated attitudes and behaviors. May mean something is getting old, you are growing tired of something. If you dream of your grandmother that has died, it may actually be a contact dream! What advice is she giving you?
Hair/Hair Cut/Balding: Thoughts and ideas because, like hair, it comes from the head. Hair cut - cut an idea or mode of thinking short Tangled hair - confusion Hair falling out - lack of ideas, uncertainty Long hair - expand on this idea, lots of ideas
Head: A head in a dream represents intellect, knowledge, ideas. If something is wrong with the head in a dream then there may be something wrong with your thinking. Is something a bad idea?
Hiding/Hide/Hid: A good indication you are avoiding an issue, you are afraid of confrontation. or perhaps you are hiding a secret? What is it you don't want to be "found" out?
House/Home/Apartment: No matter whether you dream of your actual house or some random dream house, it symbolizes YOU, your state of mind, the dwelling place of your soul. The state of the house reflects yourself at the time the dream. Mansion: Could symbolize your goals. Grand ideas. An elaborate way of thinking and doing. New House: A new way of thinking and behaving. Old House: Old, out of date attitudes. An old soul. If the house is run down, you may be feeling tired and run down. House Under Construction: Rebuilding yourself, you are undergoing renovation, transformation. If it is a house you used to live in, then it may not be about the house but who you were back then. If you are trying to find your way back home then you are probably trying to get things back to normal in waking life.
Road: The road of life. The type of road and condition of the road will reflect how your journey is going right now.
Running: Do you need to pick up the pace somewhere in your life? Are you trying to keep up?Things may be going too fast. Slow down. If you are running from something then you are probably avoiding something or someone in your waking life.
Sick/Sickness/Ill: Something in your life is not good for you. There is a person or a situation that is unhealthy. What situation in your life needs to be healed
Song/Singing: Pay attention to the title and to the lyrics. Do they say anything about your current situation? Singing indicates happiness, harmony.
Left: The left side usually refers to what has been or what needs to be "left" behind. Can also imply that you are feeling left out.
Rock/Stone/Rocks: May refer to something in your life that is solid such as a relationship, your belief system, an opinion, etc. If the rock is an obstacle in your dream then it is referring to something seemingly unyeilding that is preventing you from reaching a certain goal for yourself. Many rocks could point to a tough or "rocky" situation. "Let he who is without sin throw the first stone."
Accident/Crash/Wreck: May be referring to a mistake you have made recently. What in your life is a mess? Are you headed for an emotional crash? This could be a warning you are sending your self not to veer off course.
Drive/Driving/Drove: Your motivation; what "drives" you. If you are the one driving then you are in control of your current situation. Sometimes can point to your sex drive.
Sleep/Sleeping/Asleep: Turning a blind eye to something, or not being fully aware of something that is going on in waking life. If someone else is asleep in your dream then that person may be unaware of something going on around them. Does this person need to wake up and realize something? Or are they better off not knowing? Sometimes the person who is asleep in your dream can represent a part of your own personality. For example, if your mother is asleep then she may represent your maternal and nurturing instincts that are not being active right now.
Outside/Out: The outside in a dream often refers to getting something out in the open. If you're trying to get something out of your house, car, etc., it may mean that something has intruded upon your personal world, your peace of mind and you need to find a wayto get it out of your life or out of your thoughts.
Grow/Grew/Growing: What in your life is growing? A relationship? A project? An idea? Growth is usually good as it means progress is happening... unless you feel something is growing out of proportion or growing to a degree that it is out of your control.
Move/Moving: Unless you are actually moving in real life, moving in a dream means a need to move on from some situation or a need to move on from the past or to move into a new mindset. It is impossible to move forward if you are hanging on to what is behind you.
Husband/Wife/Spouse: Your spouse is usually playing himself or herself. Ask yourself if your spouse was helpful or harmful or benign in the dream. If they are benign then your dream is telling you they are not able to help you with your current situation in waking life. It is something you need to do on our own. If they are helpful then ask yourself how in real life the two of you are (or should be) working together to accomplish something. If they are harmful to you then ask yourself how your spouse is working against you in waking life. Once you figure it out, it may be time to discuss this issue (without pointing fingers!).
Die/Died: Change, the old dying off in order to make way for the new. The end of an issue or relationship. A part of yourself, a part of your life, something in your world coming to a close. What has ended or needs to end in your life?
Daughter/Daughters: If you are dreaming of your own daughter, ask yourself if there is a current issue with her that you are concerned about. If not - and especially if she is no longer under your roof - then your daughter may be standing in for some aspect of yourself that is like your daughter. What part of you do you see in her the most? That is most likely what she represents in your dream. If you don't have a daughter in real life, then your daughter in your dream is most likely some project, some relationship, or even some part of you that is still growing and developing, something YOU are responsible for.
Mud/Muddy: negative feelings, frustration, perhaps even depression. Mud, dirt and filth in dreams all imply that some sort of negativity is dirtying up your psyche.
Night: Are you "in the dark" about something? Are you going through a "dark" period in your life? Night-time can refer to the unknown, something that is a mystery to you.
About the Kids and the Election:
Roadrunner says all of his class except for one voted for McCain. Noodle voted for Obama. Pixie and Bookworm chose MccCain. Bookworm also voted for governer and at her middle school. She said that Obama won by only 100 votes but the governers race was closer.
As a side note. We have not been vocal about our choices so this was all the kids.
Interesting.
I asked Noodle why she voted for Obama she said: "because McCain would allow 14 year olds to drive and no 14 year old should be allowed to drive, that's crazy!" I then let her know she needs to study more issues than just drivers age. LOL

This is all very intriguing and interesting and while I am not one to think your interpretation is wrong, I personally see a different meaning behind the dream. Call me if you would like to hear it.
On the flip side, if your dream is as you state because of the election results and has left you feeling uneasy. Please read Esther. It is a wonderful story that at the end of Chptr 4 lets us know that she was placed in the kings palace and her situation not by accident and that she was a bigger part of the plan.
While everyone has their own opinion of the elections and the outcome. No one likes a drastic change and one that is most certainly NEW. But - What if this is a BIG part of the plan. We must keep an open mind and know that whether we believe it is right or wrong, it has a purpose and we need to put our faith in our Father in Heaven. Pray for comfort and understanding.
Anyway, just my opinion. Thanks for sharing your dream.
Love ya and miss you guys!
