So the last several days we have had down poors of rain, drenching rain. Flood warnings and watches. But this morning we woke to beautiful sunshine streaming through the window. This is wonderful of course and we talked about all the leaves we'd need to rake, the lawn we will need to mow (because it hasn't gotten cold enough to quit growing)and then as I sat to turn on some tunes to get some projects done my dear husband comes behind me and pulls a hair away from my head than says "Wow, that's a gray hair!" How are you supposed to respond to that. I'm not even 35! Well, I laughed and decided that I needed to go see my stylist for another coloring. Then he added "I hope I didn't cause you that one.
I've known about the few gray hairs in my head but never dreamed that my spouse would not dance delicately around the issue. He's blond so the gray is harder to spot in his head.
Counting Down
Speaking of weather, I would like to ask all of you to pray that we have dry and comfortable waiting weather for the Twilight movie release. We plan to wait patiently in front of the theater for decent seats hours before the midnight showing is scheduled to run.
At last word the theater we are atttending had opened all 8 of thier auditoriums and 5 were sold out a few days ago. With still a week to go I expect a rather large crowd and don't want to crane my neck. Especially since I hold the sequence tickets for theater 1, 1-4.
Another countdown is here and I am scarcley ready for it. Christmas. I can't believe we have 41 days and I barely have 3 gifts. This is very unusual for me. I blame it on the economy and keep trying to prepare the family saying things like "well with the economy the way it is and Reindeer food being patroleum based, Santa will likely cut back on his load, so we should expect less." Only the kids want little things like I-pod Nano's so if they ever figure out that, that would make more sense for Santa to carry over a bicycle... (shakes head)lol.
Well that's it for my ramblings of the day.
Have a good one!

seriously - Grays? They've been gracing their presence on my beautiful head since I was like 26. If this is the first that your spouse has said anything, consider yourself lucky. I just tell C to ignore them and then if he makes a comment I point out his. But since Bicycle man has blonde hair - pick on something else. He'll stop real fast.
Good luck with your movie seats. We have a lot of people here too, but since I have not read the series I can honestly say with content that I will wait for Netflix and enjoy my sleep.
The economy sucks, but if we continue to drudge forward it will all work out. The nice part is that your kids are old enough to understand your reasoning and mine are probably still young enough to not remember the year that Santa was cheap.
a little irony - my verification word is crynot. cry not.
I am in the same boat as M with the gray hairs, I find a couple every month...just found one yesterday as a matter of fact. I already color my hair consistently...so sometimes it is hard to tell what is a super blond and what is a gray hair. So I dig down to the root and if the root is brown it is a blond if it is white, or super blond or gray,,, it is outta there. When I turn more evenly gray all over I will start coloring my hair gray with black highlights, I saw it on a chic once and she looked hot!
