The 50th Post- a request to blog more

I am constantly prompted to spill my guts online to the whole world beacuse as I learned its funny to those who read it. However, I feel the prompt to write is nearly my only motivation. What would I truly talk about. I haven't been so interesting in most of my posts so I suppose that if you read this than its your own darn fault for being bored to laughter or tears or both.
My sister on the other hand is winning the most prestigious "Kreative Blog" award. I think it helps though that her brood is still cute and in some cases chubby. I don't have any antics of a two year old to make you smile.
No, here you get to read about everday normal adventures in my mundane life. Albeit, if you like to read about struggle and suffering similar to the Bible character Job, then you have arrived.

So our family had posted about our major water repair in the summer, What a mess that was. Previously we had a large Garfield like cat get under the house and ruin our ducting.
And so today I bring you the latest installment of our saga...
It was a cold winter day but a peaceful one at the royal palace. The Queen was quietly attending to her leisure items when all of the sudden there came a high pitched squealing sound. Startled at first, and then curious of its nature, a search party was sent out and they found that it was the creepy old heat demon that inhabits a dark corner in the castle (our furnace, except ours is in our indoor laundry room next to the garage.) was the noisy usually fire breathing demon. We summond the courts fire breathing demon healer (our friend who knows a little something about HVAC (He only maintains several Carl's Jr. stores HVAC in the area)He came by on his big white horse, (I mean his white work van) and took a look. He quickly dispelled that it hadn't swallowed some small animal and that it would need surgery. (it turns out the motor was making this awful noise.)But he said it would take a nobler man to heal this demon as he wasn't current on this surgery. (He's not Trane certified so he can't buy the part).
He must have scared it to death because by the end of the night the fire breathing dragon only hummed its death tune and soon a smell of its rotting interior filled the house. We left him in his coma (cut the breaker) and broke found a smaller and less scary fire demon and summond him to come and make fire for our whole castle.(a space heater from its cold location in a corner of the garage.)
We called around to the local citizens to see if there were any local heros who wanted a shot at removing this ancient (19 years) thing that made our fire demon sick and trade us up to a fancy newfangled one that made it breath fire faster.
But the the unhonorable men were greedy and set a bounty to complete the risky surgery. The amount of the bounty was very high and would put a strain on the royal palaces treasury. ($580-$1000). But, alas the forlorn queen would resort to sunlight, old fashioned fire place and a magical little heat demon (space heater) to keep the palace warm.
When finally a humble citizen quietly came forward and knew of a place where there were plenty of reasonable replacements for the heat demons fire mechanism. (The part for $110) They gave the palace a deal they couldn't turn down and the King himself, completed the surgery with the first summond healer close by. (on the phone) Soon, the palace's heat demon purred to life and warmed the castle so that the royal family could be warm and happy again.
The End.

So to finish up, this 50th post. I was challenged to post 6 things I am grateful for.
1. I am thankful for all of the things I take for granted that have been bestowed upon me in this land of bountiful. (including heat and good friends who help you out)
2. I am thankful for family both immediate and extended for loving me for who I am and supporting me in my "Job" lifestyle.
3. I am thankful for the plan of salvation, the gospel of Christ, and a living Prophet who leads and guides us on this Earth through all perils of time.
4. I am thankful for being given the opportunity of Life, that I may attempt to live it to its fullest potential and share it with many others.
5. I am thankful for my talents, both seen and unseen, developed and undeveloped for I know that these gifts help me fulfill the plan of the Lord.
6. I'm thankful for technology that allows me to instantly communicate with all who matter to me.
