My 'B' Day

WARNING: This post is a rambling of a day of the week that is the least relaxing and chronicles a similar days events.

It starts with the first line of a primary song modified to fit.

"Saturday is a special day its the day I like to call 'B' day."
B= Busy, Busted, and Broke.

It Begins with a Blaring alarm and Breakfast follows. Soon I'm off to Bounce and Boogie at zumBa. I come home to play single mom for a day. The kids prepare for Ballet, But wait today we've got to pick up Bookworm from a comBination slumBer/Bowling Birthday party.
At Ballet it turns out its Mom's dance day too. Now please don't try to get a mental image of 5 average everyday mom's in jeans and socks trying to Balance, skip and twirl with the girls. There was a lot of laughter and even a suggestion by Noodle to graB mom's camera to take video to post on You-TuBe!. Lucky, you won't have to see that!
Then a quick stop at the Bank Before it closes, so I can pay the Bills. And we've Barely gone half-way through the day!
We Buy lunch, today its Buffet salads and pizza Because that Birthday party is still swinging.
Then on this 'B' day we Busted home to graB Pixie's flute and Burn over to the church where there is a BasketBall game and a pep-Band.

We rooted for the one-arm Bandits and the elect ladies as they competed in an altered game.

(The one-arm Bandits, was a team of men and young-men who wore Bands around thier dominant arm and they could only shoot, driBBle, Block and reBound with thier un-Banded hand! This gave the Woman/young-woman team a fair go.)

Half-time we watched kids ride decorated Bikes and scooters in a kid parade. A dunking contest and a Half-Court toss contest.

The final result: Elect Ladies Beat the one-arm Bandits 20 to 18 with less than 17 seconds on the clock.

As our night wound down we put our Bottoms Back in the car to Buy Biscuits and Beans to go with our Baked chicken dinner. Burned-out we went home, filled our Belly's, Brushed our teeth, Bathed and went to Bed.
And there you have it... My B day. Enjoy the poor, motion pics from the game.
